Job Description

We are seeking an on-call independent contract 1099 delivery driver. This is an over the road position that requires overnight stay 1 to 2 days out the week. The route loads in Atlanta and delivers to Alabama, South GA and TN. Route starts on Monday at 6 am and ends Thursday evening. This is a physically demanding job that requires attention to detail and customer service is a must. Wages will be paid bi-weekly on Fridays. This job requires lifting more than 50lbs loading and unloading deliveries at customers' place of business. Walking and climbing into and out of trucks upwards of 50 times a shift. Routes average 20-25 stops per day and you can expect to work 10-12 hr days. On-call drivers will receive $140.00 per day lodging covered.
